This certainly had a little of everything; reincarnated, transmigrators, time travelers, soul isekai, ect. It was a wow on some, and when we got to learning the truth it all clicked.
First, I was slapping my knee at how I got it as we were going through the story, but it still felt nice with the MC discovering his emotions again. I say again because he was originally human, but him and all the warriors who fought off the invaders a thousand years ago. The invaders were the "Gods" that had wanted to kill all life on the planet, but the human race stood strong. MC was the strongest human hero, so he was the only one to retain a human form, while all the rest took on more beastly forms.
All their memories were sealed and they forgot their past. MC doesn't even recall the name he may have had, so the ending really had me crying ;-;
Spoilage here!
So in the ending, he has to make a choice on how to go about saving his world. He had accidentally transmigrated to Earth with the soul of the chick who was in Ouyang Shang that you meet in 45-46. He had met the author and in order to change the doomed ending of the Blue Star [MC's real world], he has to give up ever going back to his world. He can no longer return to his friends or the world he knew, and stay to protect Earth. If he decides to go back, it would go one of two ways. He would either remain hated by the world but keep it safe or try to explain the truth he learned and fight the gods only to lose everything.
So he decided to stay, the author of his story managed to guide the story to a safe and peaceful end. The time travelled demon king realized the current him [MC] must have sacrificed a lot for the peace they obtained because the Elder that looks like a robot had collected the data that was the truth and had the humans come to make peace with the "demons" realizing they were the heroes of the world when the invaders first appeared.
The time traveler demon king took on the role of our MC in the world, but our little red head could sense that there was something off about him compared to the MC she'd come to know. The tower was destroyed and everyone lived in coexistence. Those that died on the top floor of the tower + the regressor hero were all brought back to life. The guy who died in chapter 45 was brought back and sent back to a few moments after he disappeared when the tower was sealed, which lead up to how the fragments were all scattered in hard to find locations. The hero the MC managed to con into killing himself; the one that was tricked by the system, he was transmigrated to another world. We see he's in a comic being sold on Earth. The kid who was sent into the past by the Gods was praised as a hero, his statue changes.
It ends with kids questioning if the demon king really came to Earth like the comic said, and they spot MC and question why he looks familiar. They ask who he is, and he says that he has no name. It just ends there ;=; Man... he just needs a damn name, poor guy!
I liked that he was changing, but the ending was so rushed, and it felt so open and yet so gut punching of an ending. I wish there was more ;-;
Anyways, if you want to read it, I can point you to SnowMTL under the same name.
I read the rest of it, has 62 chapters total.
