he’s THE original regas, the very first of them. he’s lowkey already dead now obviously, but if i remember correctly (it’s been a while since i read the novel, so anyone can feel free to correct me) his dragon at the time prophecized and told him that someday in the future there will be another dragon and regas that will need his help and he'll be there at the right time to aid them, i lowkey forget his reasoning through as to why they specifically are more special than other dragon+regas pairs.
