Why did we need another obstacle we've alr been through this with the guard guy and I like him wayy more because it alr ended with him realising this is what satoko wanted and (because he ACTUALLY loves her and cares about her feelings not like this rando), he wanted to help her, so why are we going through the exact same thing, it's just a storytelling device to delay the inevitable of shinpei killing the dad but it's just upsetting me because they still can't even have 5 minutes together after all this and now THIS guy gets in the way for NOTHING, for smth weve already basically resolved ughhh
