He brought the old fart back because he didn’t want that old mf to spread the truth of the secretary being an omega. He wanted to keep a close eye on them. Which means he knows that the little dude is an omega and he’s the one who switched the results of the test. But alas you’re correct that old man could have been off’ed by now but I guess the author needed plot.
Why the hell is he so afraid of that damn old fart sec. spreading rumors? He could just literally kidnapped and torture him to squeeze whatever it is in that old fart was holding against him.
