The comic left out quite of bit of context for how sinister pina was. It actually left out quite of bit of background info on the characters and their motivations.
But yeah pina manipulated him into giving her gifts and money by saying she would give him blessings specially for him. And he would try his best to give her money and gifts even going as far as stealing and embezzlement. Pina, knowing he would either crack, slip up or be caught got rid of him by either making him go on an errand that would make him lose his life or hire an assasin (the guard she seduced) because she couldn't risk anyone knowing she still somehow got access to money despite being cut off by the imperial family.
Oh dang! Poor guy. He thought he was doing it for her and the greater good and sad for him…
OK so I don’t get it. So anyone remember when Pina give that a feather? What happened to him? He was like, I don’t know, was he was he? You know, he was murdered? Why would he murdered? What what happened to him? I mean, I feel sorry for him because he had so much loyalty to her, but what the heck?
