This was a really good read. It left this 'ache' feeling at the end? Like a longing or something. For me, it felt a little rushed. I was expecting Douglas to be more involved specifically since he's an alchemist. Also kinda sad that Ian didn't have friends or that he didn't made friend to his supposedly batchmates in the academy. Curious to know, what's his class now? Is he an 8th class again? I actually loved this world, wished there was more world building, but i guess that's part of this story's charm.
