ML is initially faking but at some point really starts to like mc and choses him over leaving with the other guy. However lerusha walks in on mc choking the other guy (honestly he deserved it hes such a busy body) and finds out alexi has been keeping things from him, lying to him, and there is a big misunderstanding about what happened to lerushas parents the shitty other guy tells lerusha that is wrong. Mc doesnt clarify because he thinks it will cause lerusha pain/guilt. So lerusha leaves. At this point like people have said mc does get kidnapped and ml leaves with the other guy and leaves him there BUT you find out what triggered ML to even find them was he heard Alexis (MC) name and raged out because he had to save his omega (Alexi) . He went to the room for alexi. When ml got to the room he saw mc choking out someone and ran to him first but then he remembers hes mad at him and goes to help the other guy on the bed, ignoring alexi. Alexi is so hurt he is being ignored and finally lets lerusha go, telling him how to escape but saying he will stay behind. At this point mc thinks lerusha doesnt care about him anymore so devises a plan to get back at igor and son with the idea he will kill himself after. Flash forward mc is in Canada with yuri and friends and ml is in newyork. The other guy still likes lerusha but lerusha only hangs out with him out of guilt for the help he’s received and cant like him like that. Ml has insomnia and finally cracks because he misses alexi so much but doesnt know where he is. He Ends up hallucinating he is back where he lived with mc and gets hit by a car. Alexi sees that he got hit in the newspaper and flys to visit him in the hospital and they make up and become a couple again. Then i stopped reading but theres more.
