I am pretty sure he died since Edward said he wasn't breathing and he doesn't appear after that. Also if I remember correctly I think it was implied that jermel disposed his body since there is a scene where they are dragging the corpse away kinda
I was thinking about the first prince. Even though I finish the story, I still don't know if the first prince is alive or dead because only the emperor was shown to have a funeral. Im confuse helppp
