He deserves a support system, but he shouldn’t be traumatizing people while he’s supposed to be healing. That isn’t fair to his S/O and if he continues to be caught up in a bunch of bs & bring Jo into unsafe situations, then he is not a good person for Jo. Your healing should not entail the traumatizing of another person. He needs to be alone until he can fully wrap up the mafia shit, then he can start seeing someone whilst healing.

You're acting like he forced them to be there, when Jo himself choose to stay regarding the consequences, said so himself. Ian isn't dragging anyone. "Caught up" as if he wasn't provoked and forced into those situations because people want to use him. Ian character show he can't be fully alone due to suicidal thoughts and every time he tried to be alone he's drag back in. The best option is having someone who cares for him who can show him a new path. You act like I said he should be in a relationship while healing, when he doesn't need to until he is ready, like I said Jo can still be a support system doesn't mean i meant they are in a official relationship during it.
