Lmao, maybe it's to explain why the ancient Egyptians "thought" Horus "only" had a falcon head for a head, and always depicted him with a falcon head for a head, and ONLY a falcon head.... (tldr; the deities that appear wearing "animal headdresses" in this story only had animal heads, and no human heads, in the original myths and art; their human heads hidden under headdresses are only an invention of this story)
