Ok me will try to explain
Basically Seoin mother came to visit him cause of the article that was leaked (the article was blaming seoin for a bullying incident but it was actually its bother’s doing and talking about him drinking while being a minor) by the previous idol the mc was managing. During this chapter we learn a lot of stuff :
1) Seoin family is super broken and messy and that seoin might have played a role in his bother’s death (by pushing him over the railing of a penthouse probably)
2) Next, in season 1 we learned that the mc was heavily bullied by seoin’s younger brother (it was the last chapter of the season, we don’t really know why yet but we can guess it’s because of the brother twisted obsession with seoin) we also learn that in order to cover for her son’s doings seoin mother payed the mc father’s so they would keep quiet a bout it and not sue the family ig.
3) when seoin’s mother says “oh i guess he baek yeongwoo didn’t say anything” she is referring to the fact that yeongwoo (the mc) didn’t telle seoin about the fact his brother was heavily bullying him and that his mother payed his father to cover for her son.
4) Then we also learn that the mc wanted to regain contact with seoin but the mother made sure that it never happened

someone correct me if im wrong but - basically, unc saw the article about what rly happened to yeongwoon (seo-in's brother beating the shit out of him in high school) that seo-in's mother managed to cover up all this time - even from seo-in. unc planning to do smth about it, and seo-in is still in the dark about it all (he still thinks yeongwoon abandoned him unaware of how his mother literally stopped yeongwoon from seeing his ass). moral of the story: shit mom, unc can get it, seo-in's gonna lose his shit when he finds out, yeongwoon is an angel.

nah the article about the bullying wasn't leaked, it was the picture of seo-in in that club with the guy.
