no way, a sane person in the ltit comment section...? lmao anyway that's what i try to say on here, but then people call me a ragebaiter smh. literally how do these fans call it the greatest character development of all time when taeju NEVER suffered even 1% of what the uke suffered? he litr switched up so fast, one day he was raping him & the other he was crying and begging for forgiveness. how is this classified as a romance when one of them has abused the other to the point of suicide? i just get the creeps when i see people raving about how good of a guy he is. he's the same guy who raped the mc without a second thought in one of the first chapters. i mean, with the way he was written, he must've raped other omegas who were stuck in similar positions too (ik its a fictional character im just infering from whats provided). anyway you're right ew.

Unfortunately, so many people think that rape is redeemable in fiction and it always disgusts me. The people in the comment section are incredibly ignorant and I won’t put effort into arguing with immature children on why rape is bad and even if it’s fiction it still influences reality and the people who read it. Like I always say; you are what you feed your mind. And you’re right, Taeju suffered barely and he turned into a crybaby just for fans to feel bad and excuse his past actions. To no surprise it doesn’t work on people with an actual moral compass because the writer of this webtoon does not know how to write serious subjects like rape and suicide while being aware of it. Glad to see people like you agree with me! That gives me hope.
Unfortunately, got roped in cause of the brother's plot. In many of these types of stories, anyone who's critical will get hit with a "should've read the tags" or "Check your warnings". The tags almost NEVER include that the stories have rape, no, it's not normal how many BL have rape, I do not care if you think so, it's fuckin weird that you think thats normal cause its fiction. You CAN have a toxic BL without rape, it's very possible, it's just that so many author's love to get the sex immediately and lose any and all ability to think critically about how to develop it in a way where both parties will consent and just jumps straight to manipulation, ignorance, and scumminess.
I'll keep hyping up comments like this and making comments being critical cause there are plenty of readers out there who enjoy BL who have been SA'd / are uncomfortable with SA and hope to gods that the next BL they touch won't have it and 8 times out of 10, it will or it'll lure you into thinking it doesn't and then BLINDSIDE you like 30-50 chapters in with it when you feel safe. It's disgusting.
I enjoyed the story but I totally agree. The amount of SA in manga/manwha is excessive. You can have a smutty story without rape. I would even take reluctantly having sex with a person bc that's not always SA. At this point, I turn my brain off at those parts bc I know how it would end. They never choose the green flags. Sometimes they turn the green flags black. Especially if it's not too dark with it. Or out right glamorize the act. I like that this story actually addressed the issue. That's rare.
Plus I can't help that the ML is still cute and charming. (〃ﾉωﾉ) Would I want him in real life? Hell no.
The fact that you expressed yourself this clearly and politely and still got that many dislikes is all I need to know that this manhwa's fans are brain-dead.

Liking a story does not constitute justifying anything. I had fun reading it but in no way I romanticize their situation
Very grey line, in this case, most of us are referring to the audience who IS romanticizing this. Because if you take a look at the comments for just a few minutes, you'll find that's te case and it's the case with many other BLs with rape in them. You can enjoy toxic dynamics without praising the topics being shown, that's what dark romance consists of after all, but many of us are frustrated with how common SA and rape is in BL and instead of dropping the genre as a whole, we critique these topics so that (hopefully) more authors and mangakas listen and start to write stories without including non-con. It's overused, triggering and frankly not satisfying since it's always one-sided manipulation which feels like the one being SA'd just gives up and gives in to the relationship.
Look, after reading this webtoon up until the end…all I can say is that it’s a mess.
I have no clue where to start. And I get that this is a yaoi but jesus it could be better man. The writing and pacing are not good. Taeju switched his mindset like a lightswitch so abruptly after having zero hints of his character change. He was completely content in messing around with and even raping Euihyun several times and it’s literally never addressed. No, having garbage “character development” doesn’t erase the fact he is a rapist. The people in the comments desiring a relationship like this or a man like Taeju seriously show the consequences of how implementing rape and letting it go bypassed because the perpetrator is “conventionally attractive” incredibly harmful to not only real victims but to impressionable young people. I assure you the majority of people in the comments are children reading this yaoi rape slop and calling it good.
Seriously, how did Taeju get ZERO punishment whatsoever? And was the rape really necessary? Earlier in the story he should’ve just implied that Euihyun COULD sell his body to either him or the brothel while still giving him the choice to do what he wants without shoving him one way or another. I have a better idea: Taeju is considerate but still adamant on getting the debt money from Euihyun that he DOES lend him the apartment and sends a few guys to find his father. In the meantime, he can propose that Euihyun should work with the original 3 proposed fields with this time instead of trying to push him, he leaves him alone and comes only to inform him of the debt increase and a well-being check. The reason he does these visits in person without sending someone is because he’s aware of Euihyun‘s trauma thugs. Let time pass and have Euihyun realize that his younger brother needs daycare but he doesn’t have the money so he considers the highest paying job, the brothel, righttt? And with this, he could consider WILLINGLY selling himself to Taeju and have Taeju ask him confirmation questions and lay out everything. And scrap the rape because it didn’t do jack besides try and recede the current “character development” and miscarriage to pregnancy ending which was so unnecessary and obviously rushed.
I definitely would write more but that’s too much effort wasted and I highly doubt most people here would care. Especially the people defending literal rape. Ew.
