Come to think of it, I think he stays in that house to piss them off. Plus like he said the mother can barely come there and if she does, it’s with someone to cope. So the father definitely can’t stand coming there. It’s a win win. Like I think he’s brilliant for doing that. Lol it make me happy that the bxtch is suffering too because if he live on his own, in a new place, she would be showing up more often because it isn’t where his son died so like no trauma or anything to stop her from coming so he stays there, know how it affects her, hurts her, pain her, mess her up even more, is chef kiss. That’s my take though after rereading, in a way he is torturing her too *dead with evil satisfying for now laugh*
