Welcome to japanese Tankoubon manga hahaha. Many, year 2000 till 2010 shoujo mangas have this style. Its is because standard Japanese manga require 170 ~ 200 pages, but sometimes not all stories able to use all the pages so they insert one shots or bonus story to fill in the gap. Another reason also as it maybe the mangaka's debut in magazine or just a fun story that they made. So its collected in a single published manga of the mangaka.
I though all the chaps were abt the first couple so I was sad that it was only 6 chap BUT GOT EVEN MORE DISAPPOINTED when there was only 3 chaps of the first couple [ chap 1,2&6.1] , like they're so cute, I wanna read more abt them, it's so well written
And I skipped the rest of it not related to the first couple because the 2nd story is abt a teacher and a student which is the teacher is the top [ I prefer older ukes] 3rd,4th&5th didn't really care abt it
( I just got the gist of the 2nd story cuz I skimmed through it cuz it was not the first couple)
