I think she'd rather deal with the evil she knowns than the unknown. Who's to say going to her father will be better? Can only make assumptions but it could also end up being worse than where she is now or lead her to a worse ending (og course given this is fiction i have a feeling she will eventually connect with her father and it will be quite nice)
