Well it’s not terribly odd it’s some misconceptions but we have to remember

the ML was blind back then after the accident, I haven’t caught up on the manhwa because when this came out it wasn’t a lot of chapters so I went straight to the novel and got way ahead and I’m not sure if you knew this so I marked it as spoiler plus it’s always some mess ups with adaptions but I’m sure it’ll be fixed
