i think its like an "instinct" to protect his babies, even if the eggs are unfertilized, the chickens don't know that. when you to collect the eggs, you usually don't take them all; we leave some so the chickens don't get upset (because of broodiness). maybe its because of that that hes so mad about just "deleting the eggs" djakshsja
