How about the amnesia??? Was it properly explained??? I don't get it

Hmmm what i remember is that, since he eas a boxer, the hits he took on his head affected him after the beating(i think that's what happened to him? don't remember), made his already sensitive head take more damage that causes amnesia. it's not explicitly said but there's the doctor saying he should be mindful of his head
