100%, although me personally i enjoy reverse harems for the messy drama between mls, and begrudging yet eventual acceptance of one another, thru camaraderie or loving the mc too much. a lot of (not necessarily true) reverse harems released nowadays are just smut, so other than their shared bond of fucking the same girl (or dude), the mls basically hate each other. and the few true reverse harems ive read have pretty stale relationsips between the mls and are forced into agreeing to the harem bc the fmc is usually the queen, which is just so convenient for her and makes it a little boring ngl. i understand it's hard to create a true RH bc it's messy with multiple dudes and unrealistic and you feel bad for them, but if male authors could do, why not female authors? like women dominate the romance genre, so it's interesting men are writing what are essentially multiple romance plotlines centered around the mc woven in the same story, but not women.
