You do realize, right, that victims often carry the weight of their trauma into every decision including forgiveness? Abusers can manipulate even forgiveness. Victims forgiving doesn’t always mean the abuser deserves it.
Just like Seo-In forgiving his brother for making his life miserable wouldn't make sense, the same goes for Yeongwoon. After all, Seo-In quite literally took his life from him. This isn’t just about a broken heart.
it's absolutely insane what a good author can do. I'm not super clutch-my-pearls type with yaoi cause let's be honest, it's everywhere. man oh. man did I dislike Seo-in and look at me now. my heart hurts for the guy, truly. there no excuse for the things he did but holy shit does he have an insane backstory that makes you understand how someone could get that fucked up.
