Have you noticed that in harem it's considered ok if mc keeps all the women interested in him around as "friends" even when they know about their feelings but when it's a female mc she's keeping them "on the hook"? Like... no one accuses the male mc of being a jerk for it because It's not his fault they like him... but just reading spoilers that she doesn't end up with anyone you insinuated that she kept leading them on... just how this kind of rofan is consideres reverse-harem... but rarely there's any harem on it... unless is smut or mc is an empress that already had an harem before the story began... female mc's only have 1 true love interest and at most a trash of an ex husband/fiancé to contrast with how good the real ml is...

And if we’re talking real-life experience, I’ve actually seen more female polyam relationships than male harems. But they’re nothing like the ones in manga - guys are usually submissive, and the girl tend to be dominant, totally opposite of the usual fantasy vibes with various men, no, one personality for all f them
