ik you guys like the knight, but arvid is so older percy jackson coded i love him, he makes me want to reread the books fr. I hope he doesn’t disappoint i don’t wanna eat my words. ik he tried to erase her memories but i mean he doesn’t really have ill intentions. and personally the knight ugh idk. Comparing their first impressions i liked arvid better, the knight was prejudiced from the start, i mean yeah he was won over but i don’t like self righteous men, they get on my nerves the easiest ( also the moment was like those action manwhas where the trash ml wins over his knight, it was very much boss and employee moment to me). arvid gives very much grey area, underdog, has a quest (lmao see what i did there lol) i think that’s the appeal. like the way he grabbed her and went into the rift with her gives falling into tartarus with annabeth, like he would hold up the world for her fr. i wish there was no love triangle, like he’s a knight he should know better than to fall in love with his boss. idk i think tropes like that piss me off cause i feel like you know that it’s not going to work out, it’s just a plot point. like just give the knight to sis, i feel like that would be cuter like a little office romance moment, she wants some love too. thats my rant, had to get that off my chest ig.
