I was thinking something similar to this. Like he really does want to help them and thinks he is doing it the right way but is probably getting manipulated behind the scenes of higher ups. You can tell when he thought chicken guy didn't want his eggs so he was giving him meds to dissolve them. But in reality the chicken wants his eggs

Omg n if he was one I feel like he’d be a snake but only ended up getting scales and maybe fangs. Cause obviously snakes don’t have limbs but since the evolution doesn’t seem to be taking limbs either I feel like he might have minimal side affects
