If you were in his shoes would you be willing to say no you don’t want to hang out with him. He knows he’ll be bullied if he resist the ML that’s why he’s going along with it.

I’ve read 18 bed and the ML there was more manipulative than the ML here. There’s a time in 18 bed where ML just let his classmates bully the MC bec he was annoyed he got rejected by him.

i was once in his shoes and I did in fact go to my head of year and got them suspended, but I do understand that an individual can feel pressured and overwhelmed but that is not the case with this character, he seems so odd like at first he was defensive but now he’s completely bent for the ml which honestly i feel that he’s bipolar haha

I also do not think that he’s staying with them for the protection because he did reject the ml and said he wouldn’t hang out with bullies, he’s only hanging out with the ml because the ml said that he wouldn’t hang have been better:)

yesss I was hoping for this to carry that same complexity of mental health issues and rational choice, but honestly it just feels like a fanfic of eighteen bed.

Although, I have to disagree with you. The mc ended up standing up for taesan unlike this one, unlike this manhwa there’s more emphasis on physical bullying and family reputation, mc from eighteen bed was someone who had to uphold his image, family reputation and connections, in this manhwa the mc is working class who just wanted to get through college. You can see the difference in the disparity of experience between the characters which is why arguably they have different reasons for staying with the ml.

I’m not saying eighteen bed is better because both mls are bad, I was just hoping for more context and a storyline that didn’t contradict itself;)

also the mc of this story did infact say that he wouldn’t hang out with them you cant make a point and contradict yourself with what actually happened in the story hahahahah
