i think it was also established that if they live past their 20th birthday, the curse is over or can't haunt them anymore. Hence, why they pay a lot of money to the association to have exorcists grant them protection and why they are so overprotective when they are younger. The thing with his brother and sister dying was either really a complete accident or someone was already planning it from the get go and didn't meant for them to die in that accident.
So everyone is the Seo family is suppose to die early cuz of the curse and even his brother and sister couldn’t escape it, so how the hell are both of his parents still alive and well?! Like it’s mentioned early in that’s it’s pretty much impossible for them to leave past their 20s and there is no way his parents are still in there 20s so like wtf.
