I just love that the Author isn't pushing the romance and is letting taegun take his time to sort his feelings properly and face them. So much better than an unrealistic recycled plot of love saves all because it does not and for someone who with extreme traumatic pasts like these it takes huge mental leaps and therapy to be able to come out of the comfort barriers your brain puts up. Emphasis on the being in control feeling as well. Much of taeguns trauma also stems from being vulnerable to someone who absolutely shattered and took the worst advantage of it at the most intimate level. Naturally it's hard to overcome and I love that he wants to feel equal or in control of his situation to be in control of his feelings and do things at his own pace and wish.
