Well, the term “cannibalism” is an act of eating a your own, a person eating another person. The other idea of cannibalism in plot like this is for them to be one. You know? “you are what you eat”. It simply puts the idea of them being together till the end as they each other. One thing that is interesting here is how the love was conveyed down to the max idealism which is cannibalism but given the fact that it's a zombie plot one, it's not really deep—but the thoughts of the black haired one is gives off the idea of deep love and feelings as he really did brace the idea of him living with the goal of eating the other character.
It's fine, some people cannot accept things like this especially with the cannibalism as they conveyed it as disgusting, no need to push yourself—it's only a fiction after all. I got interested with your topic, let me join and adds my idea about it.

Hahaa! Love has different form, some people really tends to conveyed it in different ideas which is intriguing and somehow complex. Maybe you're much of some love and feelings that is conveyed in a normal like showing off the feelings rather than conveying it into some twisted one.
I hate cannibalism with all my heart because I just do not understand the deep message behind it, how it can be view of a symbol of love, I can’t comprehend it and whenever I come across cannibalism’s works everyone else is talking about how great and touching it is while I just feel disgusted, but mostly confused…
