Lack of info

While the whole show of brutally vetoing the guy was probably wrong, limiting supplies within reason is good.

Guwon did say that the children suffered previously from lack of supplies which may be true. We don't know that much about the town yet, and I'm sort of inclined to believe Guwon because although he's insane, he seems to follow a set of rules with some moral consideration.

He accepts people to the town and extra conditions such as children in exchange for valued skillsets. So in his own way he tries I guess?

I don't think we understand the stances of other townies much yet either but my brain is currently fried from lack of sleep so who knows

But even if it’s true, the punishment of killing the dad was too much. They could put them in jail or something. Kick them out. Idk.

That's what I said, the whole show of vetoing the guy is probably wrong and could be done better, but his premise isn't. Maybe eventually if teach and Guwon become closer and understand each other more, teach could introduce him to prison systems or points, ration deductions idk
Guwon was happy to be told wrong so I just assume Guwon just thought physical violence was best because he's a frankensteined creature with no moral guidance?
I'm kinda guessing he only came to life during the apocalypse

Idk. If guwons default is beating people to death… I feel like he might just be a bad egg

Could also be true! Who knows, but it's fun making guesses and seeing how the story pans out.
