No cuz in the end they still right how creepy it is. Even if yaoi had to start form doujinshi, what kind of sick fucks were doujinshi authors that these kinds of tropes are so damn prevalent. I feel like the author of this one at least had the balls to not sugar coat the facts. Like this was straight up stockholm syndrome frok beginning to end. Doesnt matter how old I get, I will always judge rape shit even if I turn off my brain sometimes to enjoy a story that would otherwise be ok without that "start" to the whole relationship. No for real! Like, don't get me wrong, I'm no saint, I love some stories that start off whack af (like low tide in twilight for example). There are times I do the same and shut off my brain because the story is so good yet they decide for NO REASON to include rape. I won't ever understand the point, especially when the authors are so clearly capable of writing good relationships (idk about this one, I didn't power through, but I'll trust your take that it's Stockholm syndrome).
Like... You can still have a dominant character and a belligerent/grumpy character and make it consensual.

I clicked oj this bc I recognized the cover from long ago thinking it was nostalgic in a good way but boy was I wrong ┗( T﹏T )┛. Like I ended skimming the rest at a certain point but basically yeah, stpckholm. Bro (MC) literally outright called out ML abput getting kidnapped and raped and ML straight up went into gaslight mode and then the MC was like 'there goes my peaceful school life' and then it just went on to them doing it often on school grounds from then on and by the end the MC is smitten obv
The comments section has gotten so boring... now it seems to have been invaded by people acting like religious fanatics, constantly lecturing us as if we weren't aware of what we're reading. I know they are a minority but they are always willing to complain and repeat the same comment over and over again....
I'm too old to be lectured (≧∀≦)
