Read it yrs ago on mrm, i think it was a manga and had nice art. I think it was a historical setting and one of them was like a healer or a figure of vitality/purity in a religion (IDKKK) and they both had met as kids and met again as adults but couldnt be together so I think the other one turned into a guard or did some bullshit to get close to the other idfk
I feel like im making this up. Also possibly people thought the healer (?) one was a woman IDK
