In my opinion... Summary at the end

I really hate it when authors get overzealous to add everything into their stories.

Like if you want to make it about cooking, just focus on that. No need to add so much unnecessary drama that drags on the series because you want to have the same content as other popular series.

Like- okay the story line was good, the romance was enjoyable, the family relationship is beautiful, the artstyle changing three times i can tolerate but there's barely any mention about cooking in the later chapters even when the title is just about that!!!

I'd also like to point out the fact that for some reason, the story mentions some details but never actually holds up to them as if it was made by some robot with a really poor memory.

Sliiight Spoiler from here

Like if the portal couldn't open at first, couldn't you just go back to where you found it the first time? And how is she able to speak to her mother when she's supposed to be dead, or why did they make some characters so fearful but didn't even show their scary side? Some other characters seemed to be described as intelligent and capable but didn't do anything all that great, it was just frustrating.

Also, Make it make sense for real like those details sound so important but they never even explained or used them. Such a shame really. Full of potential but alas. I'm so mad because this story is so good and very original too.

To summarize:
Story is overall good, but lacks depth and is holding up more with drama rather than linked up situations of lore and mysteriousness, the kind that keeps you hooked i mean. Since drama always comes and goes, it kinda gets boring rather easily. It's also a bit rushed because the author wanted so desperately to include too many ideas.

Also cooking is rarely mentioned after the next 60-70-100+ chapters, so only read if you want the cooking to be secondary.

I'm also personally glad that Senianna isn't slow and has some wit in her instead of being weak and always needing protection. She's smart and knows how to stand her ground but the people around her do sometimes have to help her which is completely fine and understandable, which shows that in the end she is still human and is vulnerable sometimes.
