This guideverse seems different from the ones I know but basically there are Esper that have special powers, but using their powers make they go corrupt(? maybe not the best word) like they may go bersek and have their powers out of control and rampage of they use too much and guides in the ones I read calm the espers and purify(?)
It's actually kinda a little bit similar to omegaverse, but there's no pheromone nor like the alpha ability to control any omega.
For example, omegaverse has:
Alpha: The Highest and richest in standing and social.
Omega: The weak and pretty ones
and Beta: Normal human.
Guideverse has:
Esper: The most powerful being with different power in them. They use that power to fight in dungeons against creatures who attck their world. But the major drawback is that they hav a limit to how much they can use their power before they get corrupted and lose control of themselves.
(Espers also have different ranking like, A-class, B-class, A-class, SSS-class. A-class and S-class and SS/SSS-class are regarded as highest ranking with Great power and ability.
Guide: This are individual who has the power to neutralize the corrupted power builded inside the Esper through the process call GUIDING. Every Esper needs a Guide inorder to not lose control, where physical contact(touching), sharing of saliva(kiss) or sex can be a form to giving guiding.
Then comes Normal citizen: This are individual who weren't given any of the above skills and are Normal human beings.
Last but not the least, Both of this verse also have BONDING. They work quite the same like how when two individuals bonds in omegaverse the other person can't smell other alpha's or Omega's phormone, just like that in Guideverse, The guide cannot giving guiding to another Esper other than his own Esper and the Esper cannot get guiding with the help of another Guide who is not their BOND.
