Sorry for thinking this was a cliche love triangle.
MC is stuck in a timeloop and he thinks that only by matchmaking the girl he likes(childhood friend) with the guy she likes(best friend) he can break out of the loop. However, even after he forced his friend to accept her confession, time relooped again.
(Seems like MC's friend likes him instead of her so it's a 3-way triangle, will let it marinate)
