i seen past interviews of the author saying that he's not super fond of writing spy x family and he actually finds it difficult to write the story cuz he didnt think that it was gonna be that popular so he didnt really plan the story all that well hence why he takes a lot of breaks in between and the story feels so disjunct at times

Though some authors avoid romance because they can't write it, he clearly can or has someone on his team that can as proven by the side plot romance. Add some Mr. And Mrs. Smith and our main couple is ready to be served. I would say he could not do it at all but he's set up Yor so he can't back out now. We're really waiting for Lloyd to get there.
im tired of this fuckass slowburn and all the random ass side quests going on like why did the story of becky's maid and the eden headmaster have more romantic development than the actual main couple? when are we gonna get the big reveal!!!
honestly it just feels like the author is dragging this story on as it goes cause they know damn well they won't gain income from all the gooner highschooler p*** side works they've made. this manga better get the MOST ANGSTY, HEARTWRENCHING, UNFORGETTABLE, EMOTIONAL ending reveal ever.
