I mean, Tsutsumi didn't really act on his jealousy/inferiority complex, so there's no way Mibu could've known. From the flashback, Tsutsumi didn't act hostile towards Mibu or blow up at him, and he still congratulated him. Mibu can't assume his friend is jealous of him, so of course he'd continue to share his accomplishments. I won't deny Mibu may be up his own ass (since it looks like Tsutsumi was doing things for him and he didn't notice until Kunimura told him), but I also can't blame him for not noticing Tsutsumi's struggle.

yeah i agree i was thinking that as well but too many people latch on tsutsumi inferiority complex and suggest therapy when its clear it exacerbated by how oblivious mibu is to his pain, its like when u do better than ur friend when u know they are just as passionate u wont rub it in their face that u succeeded, it shows that in term of photography it never click in mibus head that tsutsumi is just as passionate as he is

I think it depends between friends and how they react to accomplishments with the same interest. Mibu doesn't mean to rub it in Tsutsumi's face. I guess what I'm understanding from you is that Mibu should've been checking in on Tsutsumi rather than JUST sharing his own success.
Well, they're together in the end and they'll work through it. Like someone else commented, based on the extras, they'll be just fine.
a lot of people comment on tsutsumi inferiority conplex when mibu clearly is so up his own ass as well. he claim to love uke how come he never saw those signs with him all throughout being together cause he is selfish and only thinks of himself
