i think that like, the obligatory tests are made later, but it can be determined before if you pay a lot? bc crybaby didn't exactly "manifest" either, it's not like he emits pheromones
wait but isn't it that the secondary gender only manifests later? i know that the rules are different in every story, but even here little crybaby had it determined only recently
