I think people forget that this story is a DARK story with romance thrown in the mix. The novel never said it was gonna be all rainbows and daisies, and i know for a fact that you all can read. This story is about a MAFIA- nothing about the mafia is soft and sweet. They are known for being gruesome, violent, and brutal. I know rape is a serious issue in the story- but it's looked past that because Leewon is a victim and is most likely experiencing Stockholm Syndrome. Caesar's actions are no doubt unforgivable, but it's part of the story.
