While this was well written. I left this manhwa hating both characters. They are truly too toxic for one another to ever be a real couple. Cirrus is manipulative, cruel, co-dependent, spiteful, has abandonment issues, and is emotionally unstable. Skyler is violent, volatile, avoidant, apathetic, painfully insecure, self-absorbed, and weak willed. I honestly felt so unnerved by both characters’ backstories and while well executed, the lack of any closure for both these young men, means they use each other as their source of “comfort” from reality and while heartbreaking is in no way a healthy way of processing. I wish this was longer because honestly these two need additional fleshing out characterization wise, yet the reality is the author is right to end it this way because realistically there would not be a neat resolution to their respective trauma. Still it left me unsatisfied, and even angry that this will still be framed as “romantic” when all I see just see is a tragedy. I’m terrified of both of them and terrified of them being together.
