Yall hate this man and I'm here wondering shat has he genuinely done? I'm up to chapter 42 rn I can tell you this man has not done any wrong to her at all. This whole time she's been crazy delusional and been making up assumptions about him, like even now she STILL fails to realize why he didn't want a child in the first place no matter how many times he's expressed to her why, and how does she know he'll hate it?? Like can you read his mind? For now I shall wait and see his actions, because maybe he does genuinely do something wrong later, but up to ch 42 I have not seen him do anything abusive towards her, or maybe my memories off which would be weird

I agree, I mean obviously he got insecure and mean after being manipulated and betrayed, they both have some faults to deal.. let’s see if he turned into something worse or she actually start to really communicate, because this is what it is…

Wdym? She hates him bc he destroyed her country (or was at least an ally of the country that did), and also tried to get her to kill herself, and kill her. I get that it was during a time of war, but I would absolutely NOT feel safe around a person that did that. And, like you said, he expresses to her that he doesn't want a child so it makes sense that she'll assume he'll hate it, right? And what assumptions is she making of him? Also, spoiler alert:

In ch. 75, he sexually assaults her.

Yeah that’s why I said that they were allies of the country that destroyed Argan bc I wasn’t sure if they aided the red haired people in the destruction of Argan

I meant to downvote and I accidentally upvoted, but are we being deada** right now? Perhaps you should have read a little further, but you should have definitely seen the red flags by now. He knew what he was agreeing to when he saved her, she’s not really forcing him into anything. If she doesn’t get pregnant then she dies. He calls himself a loyal dog and he’s already shown that he has no intention of going against his brother in any meaningful way. There’s a time limit, so I think she’s a little justified in her little attempts to get him to fulfil his end of the agreement. What does he expect to happen if he doesn’t do it with her? and quickly at that. If he didn’t want to do it, he should have just let her finish herself off instead pretending like she’s not in some desperate situation.

Also, I don’t know when it happens but the first time they did it seemed like it was not 100% consensual, he only did it because she was thinking about leaving him and it upset him. He went at it before even really asking and didn’t let her get a word in.

At every turn when she reached out and tried to connect with him on a higher level than just a trophy to him, he has repeatedly told her he only considers her as a prize. Pretty icky if you ask me, telling someone you don’t mean anything to them and they’re just using you.

If you really think about it, most of the scenes they share, are them doing it. When have they connected on a real level beyond that? He literally shows her and straight out verbally tells her that all he wants is physical and possessive. Maybe it’ll be revealed that he did actually love her the whole time and he just didn’t know it, even so, love doesn’t look like that.

He knows she loves her brother and her people, or at least feels a very strong responsibility towards them (because she literally told him and also from overhearing her dreams) and he has made zero attempt to help her in reuniting with her brother or achieving any of her goals. He just wants to keep her as his thing beside him. I’m all for possessive lovers and wanting to monopolise all their time and attention but this isn’t that.

    Overall, he sucks.
