Third, Mayuka. I love how her relationship with Ren shows that change is not entirely a bad thing. Especially when it stops you for being you. Mayuka is a kind and understanding gf. I kind of get why she acted like that. It was just a fear she got from her parents. It affected her so much that It even put a strain to her relationship with Ren. What made me sad about their story is the fact that their love prevents them from being the person they should be. I'm actually happy for Mayuka for finding change something you could brace on. Her life didn't end when they broke up.
Actually, both Ren and Mayuka had faults in their relationship. Ren for not opening up to her girlfriend more and Mayuka for putting Ren as something that she could easily reach on when she's only free. Glad to see that Mayuka found herself something that she actually likes.

Next is Andou, I like his persistence. But I hated how he ended up stealing Ninako's first kiss just to push her to Ren. I do love the part how he remained true to his feelings about Ren. He showed his hate and support to his friend and ultimately, he found himself changing for better. Not the cool Andou, but the silly Andou. I feel bad for him tho but that's exactly how unrequited love works.
Next is Gaachan!, I kind of hate how he cannot read the atmosphere sometimes HAHAHAHH also the part where he rooted for Sayuri's ex just because he's not friend with Daiki. I see him as a voice in your head telling you that there is something wrong and you should do something about it. Like how he kept bugging Ren to be true to his feelings towards Ninako. It's true tho that Ren should be true to his feelings because prolonging the lies will furthermore hurt both him and Mayuka.
Another is Daiki, I love how he didn't push Ninako too much regarding his feelings for her. It's funny how he moved on so fast tho HAHHAHAA. But that doesn't mean he didn't actually like Ninako. Maybe liking Ninako becomes natural for him because they had been together since they were a child. But him realizing and slowly falling for Sayuri, AMAZING. I love his character development as a consistent, faithful, caring, and understanding boyfriend.
my feelings for this story is half half. I like it, the slow, excruciating pain, exciting, burning passion for love. The story clearly depicts how love should be during middle/high school. Messy, full of mistakes, forgiveness, exciting, painful, regrets, doubts, one sided feelings, and so on.
I like how love was not shown as something easy to throw or obtain. I love how it made all the characters realize that love is flawed and not forever.
I would like to share my take on each character personality, Let me first start with our cutesy FL, Ninako. Her point of view clearly shows how a first love goes for a middle/high school student. There were times where you will think that you are doing the right thing, when in fact you are not. And that's fine because you are learning. It was not her fault that Ren fell in love with her. She clearly tried to wish for Mayuka and Ren to patch things up in their relationship because she didn't want Ren (also Mayuka) to feel hurt/sad.
Secondly, Ren. Reading some of the comments blaming Ren. I do kind of get your side but I would also like to share something. The reason why Ren was mostly hate by some of the readers was because he cannot draw lines/boundaries with Ninako considering he was with Mayuka that time, and the Fact that he also didn't said anything to Mayuka about Ninako confessing to him. I think the reason why Ren is like that was because he would "like" to appear more mature/dependable to Mayuka. As Mayuka constantly depends on him. Seeing Mayuka happy and depending on him must've made Ren thought that he was doing the right way of taking care of her girlfriend. For those who keep commenting that Ren didn't love Mayuka and only stayed with her because of his promise. Remember that he loved Mayuka enough for him to suppress himself for being childish because he didn't want to burden his girlfriend.
