They broke up and ML was begging her to stay but she didnt (this is all korean raws and i can only understand a bit of korean so i looked for other spoiler to piece things together). Several years later he meets her again and shes not really pursuing what she took in college. ML mistakes her as a prostitute/someone who needs a sponsor in showbiz cuz they met thru ML's friend (friend looks douchey ngl) during a dinner session. idk what the FL's job-- its either a model/actress.
He drags her and coerces her to have s3x with him (imo its just r@pe because she was drunk af and very unwilling). FL never explained why she broke up with him so (based on other spoilers) he is under the impression that she cheated on him.
He is VERY different and EXTREMELY bitter in the current timeline. This is not the same man we've read throughout the series. He often scowls and is condescending. he was not gentle at all when they were doing the deed. FL woke up first and left a couple of 500,000 won bills after reflecting (just in general) what happened to their relationship. ML wakes up and sees the money and proceeds to throw a tantrum aka making a mess and throwing shit around.
This is the latest in korean manhwa raws. In terms of the novel, i saw some spoilers saying that he does not treat her good for a while but then he later finds out what actually happened and redeems himself in the end by supporting her career and basically reverting back to his old self.

Dam he became so bitter in the current timeline its hard to believe its the same person. What the ML did is NOT it
