Definitely was a hurtful and tonedeaf response but it also feels so realistic to me, he's just a middle schooler who suddenly had this kid dump his tragic home life onto him when he too has problems at home, it feels like their friendship is more "we both have it shitty and shit sucks" instead of "its okay im here for you" and i can appreciate that oddly enough, not only because it shows another form of a friendship but also makes you appreciate the main couples healthy communication more (*´▽`)v

I only feel bad for the circumstances he had, his dads abuse and the class discrimination shit but I'm not excusing his behavior, it's not a case of "he's just a teen he doesn't know what he's doing", cause from the start he didn't see J as equal friends but looked down on him as some rich kid crying about nothing only to betray him big time now, but ye as a character and as writing it's good af cause this feels like real people real conflict that absolutely can and does happen (didn't expect any less from the author <3) I really can't wait for J's response nowww

You’re gonna hate me but I love the character even more after chapter 60 I really love pathetic messes of characters and right now he’s getting high on the pathetic and desperate meter buts it’s so good. I’m definitely not excusing Rik’s actions or behaviour, and I definitely feel bad for Jinhyung, but I just love difficult characters
Love watching the friendship with the high school friend but dont like how it was basically the friend saying "ok well I have it worse so you have no room for complaint"
