Okay I love how the backstory wasn’t the villain being an ex or smth or past SA etc, and how mc got back at him every time
Also love how stable and loving the relationship is, like there’s no dramatic conflict just to put the reader through a rollercoaster

BUTTTT I hate the two conflicts between them, I hate how when the glasses guy tried to frame him he really leaned towards believing him and not mc when mc said he sent the right files, and like fucking hell its literally e-mails doesn’t he have his side of evidence of outbox to show what he sent? How did that even become a problem (in the work sense, not in relationship sense of him believing glasses guy that mc was the one who did wrong even when he knew glasses guy caused the last problem and didn’t even bother to come forward admit and apologize last time)

And then the last conflict… bro in no scenario can I ever see someone in this situation not congratulating mc on a new better job elsewhere, like can you look him in the eyes and tell him in an unbiased way that professionally he’d be better off staying there and not taking the new job? If you weren’t his boss there and your reasoning wasn’t “but I wanna see you at work everyday uwu” or “oh but we put so much effort into getting the wrongdoer guy punished and out just so you could get a promotion so you leaving would make that be for nothing” can you actually say he wouldn’t be better off both career-wise and mental well-being-wise at a higher position working for a friend he trusts, at a company where HES trusted, respected, needed and wanted? Like not even counting how he wasted 4 years of his life in here being disrespected so the association would itself make him feel better away from here cause he doesn’t even want that company’s acknowledgement of him anymore, but also you’re literally his boss there… who the hell wants to be subordinate to their lover?who wants the possibility of a repeat of that incident, a possibility to not be believed about what you said you did or didn’t do, or possibility to be professionally scolded by your lover? You’re gonna wanna be able to be mad at your boss without it equaling a conflict with your lover cause it’s clearly not gonna be sunshine’s and rainbows

Like he was right, you’re not everything about that company, he’s not gonna base his whole decision on whether or not he works there on the fact that you work there it’s not kindergarten, and you’re the one that has a rich family he can fall back on while mc actually NEEDS to build his career himself…

But also, I am someone that always loves all background characters being paired off into couples even if it’s a tiny bit, but damn did I really not need that old man yaoi with the villain, I didn’t need a happy ending for him or even a hopeful one, I’d rather there be side stories of mc’s and ml’s friends, the tall blond and the short redhead….
