Honestly, the story is so peak that I wouldn't have minded a little romance, especially with the development Flora went through. But it is an excellent treat that the author didn't go that route.
Can you imagine Roman "in love" ? I can barely imagine him in a marriage of convenience!
I believe the author was tryna sail the romance for Roman and Flora but along the way, wasn’t able to do it cuz who would want that? Good to know though that it didn't happen cuz dang, my boy, Roman, was already good as he is. One rejection was enough.
