TJ is part of his past and present—otherwise there wouldn’t be a love triangle. I agree that it’s partially about that because of course, Youngwoo needs to grow and heal in many ways—DOYAK even mentioned one of main themes is about all three characters with their flaws growing up as the story goes by, but the story is far more complex than that. But at the end of the day, the basic structure of Wetsand is a ‘dark’ story. I doubt there will be much “healing.”

yeah - maybe I worded it wrong. I don't think it's entirely about healing, but in my opinion the story is about yw moving forward. i personally cant see that happening if he stays with tj - especially since rn taejoon has no intentions of leaving the gang, hes just becoming more involved. also doyak literally did say smth about them loving doomed relationships idk idk I rmbr reading that and I was like yeah... tjian is NOT happening

Lol it’s so interesting seeing different viewpoints! This story is very anxiety inducing! I’m not sure about the doomed relationship thing but she recently did an interview where she said: “I don’t like heroes. I’ve always loved characters who are losers when it comes to love.” She definitely loves darker stories and it shows with Wet Sand being very noir inspired.
listen. i dont even read this and yet im stressed as fuck about the fact that tj might not be ian's endgame like im fr going to have the crashout of all crashouts if tjian is not endgame AND I HAVENT READ A SINGLE CHAPTER OF THIS SHIT ITS THAT SERIOUS
