Hey does it happen regularly? Bc i think it could be a sign of strain and you should get it looked into so it doesn’t get worse like turning out to be carpal tunnel syndrome or something

well only these past couple nights. And it only hurts for around 10 minutes before stopping! If i think about it too much it does start aching again but I think thats just me manifesting it. thx for the concern tho(▰˘◡˘▰)

Try checking if by keeping the joint stable the pain subsidy or not.... Like when it starts hurting keep it still or wrap tightly with crepe bandage... then keep it still..

Hey, I have regular wrist pain from strain, because I have really weak muscles and I do design and illustration for a living. What you’re describing is pain in the “veins” and not in the muscles or joints, and it randomly appearing at night doesn’t sound like strain to me. My mum had this, turns out it was Carpal Tunnel.

Carpal Tunnel has a tendency to only be present during night, and go away during the day sometimes. Try lightly pressing on the inner part (same side of the palm of your hand) of your wrist and then moving your wrist down towards your arm as far as it can go, and hold it for a minute or 2. If your fingers go numb/get pins and needles you likely have Carpal Tunnel.

Also pay attention to any other parts of your fingers that go numb, as that could indicate nerve pinching.

This is just coming for a guy who got wrist injuries so often that he had to stop going to the doctors because that’s a lot of money. I won’t be as good as a doctor though.

Get it checked out if you can’t pin point the cause, because the hand is really delicate and important, and they take it very seriously. Could be something like a cyst as well.
