That's because MC didn't actually take advantage of the ML. I admit that it's sucky for the ML if he were to retain memories of making love with the MC that he has no recollection of. But at the time, his other self chased MC and pushed MC to make love with him then telling MC that he will never forget their month of loving and heart-warming memories. Since MC is the one who is left to remember their promises of love and undying devotion via imprinting, it's no wonder most would be sympathetic to the MC because he is left with broken promises and now, unrequited and forgotten love.
Okay so there are people saying mc raped ml, but personally I just have to disagree with that.
The reason why is because ml was able to consent to being intimate, he was not manipulated or forced in any way.
He has amnesia which took a few years of his memories, but his mind is still of age (he didn’t regress to child mind). His cognitive abilities of decision making were not affected by memory loss. So he is able to give consent with his current memories. (he does not have dementia or mental problem that would effect consent)
With memory loss you can get your memories back or there is also a possibility of never getting them back-does that mean ml would need to stay celibate forever if his memories didn’t come back?
Just because he lost the memories now it doesn’t make consentual sex of the past rape...
Or what do you think??
Like I understand ml must feel very weird now since he doesn’t remember but it still doesn’t change the fact that it was consentual?
