Long lost siblings and parents who have lost their child in infancy can end up having romantic or sexual feelings towards their long lost relative when they re-encounter them as adults. It’s a weird phenomenon but it happens often enough that it’s considered psychologically “normal” which is gross. I think there might even be a term for it but I did NOT want to go down that rabbit hole after finding out this cursed knowledge from a tv show connecting lost relatives… rabbit hole away at your own risk.

It has something to do with the psychology of humans, where we are attracted to faces/characteristics that are similar to our own. Like hair, eyes, or even mannerisms. It’s craaaaaazy

That’s apparently why we instinctively seek partners like our parents and that knowledge alone is helping me stay single lmaoo I don’t want either of my parents to be in my life longer than necessary
