I’m honestly trying—and failing— to view this objectively. What is the conflict and development here?

That Yoshino is insecure about their relationship;
that Rou put himself in a situation that needed him to spend a night at a coworker’s place, whom he’s only met a few days prior.

The resolution? Yoshino drinks himself to tears and a third party has to TEXT Rou who, by the way, is also being grilled by Niko for being insensitive to his partner.

Is the 5-chapter character development here Rou realizing he’s not single anymore and his interactions with people should reflect that?
