now im a little lost cause everything guwon says makes complete sense to me? its an apocalyptic world, resources are extremely limited and trying acquire resources puts your life at risk, so everything has to be moderated given the circumstances. sure he couldve exiled that guy rather than killed him but given that people are killing eachother over much less outside the village that doesn't make him seem that crazy. idk hes a lil extreme but it makes sense to me. also teach is so slow if he thought guwon would just be some hero bru like get real ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Yes, it makes sense to ration supplies carefully in an apocalyptic setting, but i think the difference is that this town is actually thriving. Way more than other survival areas. People consider it a haven, and you are practically guaranteed to live if you follow the rules and remain inside. when society moves beyond a point of a need for survival, and instead becomes more focused on fulfilling the individual, morality develops, and so does society as a whole. I think thats MCs goal to a certain extent, though it is kind of fueled by emotions at the moment.

I also want to add that i dont think teach is necessarily 100% correct, and that guwon is 100% in the wrong. Tbf the reason the town can thrive is because of his leadership, but "If it aint broke, dont fix it" doesnt apply here because people are clearly dissatisfied with the current system, and are suffering from it.

trueee, but if you change the foundation everything built on top may fall. whose to say people wont abuse that morality to their benefit, like i saw a comment saying the other townspeople are sketchy and i agree, i trust them the least. i think they may try to weaken guwon to serve their own interests using teach, and then all the peace is likely to collapse without the the driving force behind it, fear of guwon. (im not disagreeing btw, i just find the concept interesting and way more complex than him just being crazy)
